Policies, Shipping, & Returns
The price of the item listed does not include shipping. Please see below for US, Canada, and International shipping rates.
Indy Record Shop is NOT responsible for any lost or stolen packages.
Boxes
We ship in very unique, custom boxes that allow the ultimate protection! We ship all unsealed records outside of the original sleeve, inside of an additional poly sleeve to allow for the best protection during shipment. Shipping our vinyl in this way allows us to have very few incidents of damaged vinyl. If your record arrives damaged in any way, please let us know!
Shipping
U.S. Shipping: Media Mail: Shipping your vinyl via media mail can take up to 14 days, but usually takes about 2-8 days.
INTERNATIONAL Buyers (Including Canada): We have experienced longer shipping times (on average 3-4 weeks) due to slow customs processing. Please be aware of this during checkout. Your vinyl could take up to 6 weeks to arrive. International shipments include a U.S. Customs tracking number, which only tracks when it is scanned with the U.S. Customs Department. From that point, we can not guarantee that it will be scanned again. We do not issue refunds for an item that is in transit.
Duty and Taxes: The recipient of any and all goods sold by Indy Record Shop is responsible for any and all custom fees, including taxes and any other fees assessed at the border prior to delivery. Indy Record Shop will not be held responsible for any additional taxes and/or fees. Indy Record Shop WILL NOT declare a lower customs value on any order – if requested, Indy Record Shop may cancel the order entirely and issue a full refund.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If the Post Office returns a shipment to us, the buyer will be responsible for additional shipping fees.
You may return your vinyl within 7 days of receipt for a full refund (shipping costs will not be refunded). The vinyl must be in the same condition in which it was received and the buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs. The buyer must ship the record back to Indy Record Shop before the refund will be issued.
USED RECORDS
All of our used records are tested on high fidelity turntables and graded to the best of our ability. Please feel free to ask for specifics when purchasing our used records and please review our grading system! If you have an issue with a record when it arrives, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to resolve the issue! Don't forget, all of our records are pug tested, pug approved!
GRADING
All records are strictly graded visually on record, inner sleeve (when applicable), and outer sleeve.
M (Mint) – This vinyl is stil sealed and has never been opened or played.
NM (Near Mint) – This is the highest used grade given. This vinyl is as close to perfect as possible, but has been opened. The inner and outer sleeve should be nearly perfect, and may possibly even still have shrink wrap on the outside. There should be very little or no signs of use.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) – This record will be very clean. There may be a few sleeve marks or hairline scratches on the record, but mostly very clean. The sleeve may have faint creases or slightly dinged edges.
VG (Very Good) – This record should still play fine, but will definitely have some visible scuffs or scratches. There may be light surface noise between tracks and possibly a tick/pop in some tracks. The sleeve will have ringwear and some seam splitting. This will still be a presentable vinyl record fit for any collection.
G (Good) – This vinyl will be well used, and obviously played. The vinyl should still play and there shouldn't be any major skips. There may be light pops/ticks on some tracks. The sleeve may have ringwear, seam splits, or writing/tape.
